Indications:
Phenytoin cap, 100 mg can be used for treating Chronic Epilepsy of the tonic-clonic type. May not be effective against absence seizures and may add to the occurence of seizures in this disorder.
How to take:
Adults, initial dose of 100 mg thrice a day, adjust dose at 7 to 10 day interval until desired effect is achieved. For more detailed information please see label and please consult specialist. Do not take more Phenytoin than it is indicated at the label without consulting your doctor.
Precautions:
Take phenytoin with food to minimize gastrointestinal upset. Not take this drug with antacids, take tablets as whole. Do not perform task that require mental alertness as the drug may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and blurred vision. May cause urine to appear pink, red or brown. Consult doctor if seizures persist.
